Medium just slashed member prices - time to give blogging for money a try?
One of the best things Medium ever did was make the Medium Partner Program exclusive to members.
Membership only cost $5, but the barrier was enough to get rid of a lot of the junky, spammy, AI-generated content that people were posting and trying to monetize for free.
Now, if you want to play, you gotta pay.
And that’s the way it should be.
Medium just slashed membership prices
I realize $5 is a lot more to people in many of the countries covered by the Medium Partner Program than it is to me (due to currency conversion and the state of any given economy).
But the good news is that the site just slashed subscription prices for a limited time.
Until August 17, you can get 20% off and open the door to making hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month blogging the way I do.

That’s an hourly wage of around $170/hour, which is a pretty nice part-time job if you ask me.

Is that level of success common?
No, not at all.
But is it possible if you’re consistent and really motivated to keep learning and getting better at the kind of content that Medium readers want to see?

Opening the door to new writers
Again, I know $5 might be a lot more to someone else than it is to you or me.
But the current price drop should open the door to more great writers interested in joining a Medium community that I’ve been a part of now for nearly two years.
